Who We Are

Phoenix Academy was established in February of 1998
to provide a place where the time honored traditions
of the Chinese Martial Arts could be
taught, learned and enjoyed by the masses.
Phoenix Academy exists because we believe that when taught in combination with
the unchanging principles of Truth... the Chinese Martial Arts
can make a significant and positive difference in the lives of those who participate.
The ownership & staff of Phoenix Academy
have made a firm commitment to work diligently toward this end.
As long as God continues to bless this effort,
Phoenix Academy will continue to use our God-given giftedness
to help people further develop their body, mind and spirit.
What We Value
Our lineage is of great importance to our teaching as well as our emphasis on
- integrity -
that our school operates in accord with
acceptable business practices and in accordance with
the higher standard of ethical and moral law
- character -
that our school will always emphasize character development
as an equal component with technique and skill.
- quality -
that our school will develop only students of character from within our own ranks
to particpate in our rigorous "Teacher Training Program"
which includes Apprenticeship and Internship.
All instructors (including our Head Instructor), must continue to develop
their own personal growth (which includes technique and character),
in order to maintain instructor priviledges.
As you can see, it is of the utmost importance, that we here at Phoenix Academy,
live each day to serve those who entrust themselves or their loved ones to our care.
We pledge that this will always be our top priority.
As you decide your path in the Chinese Martial Arts,
we hope that you will look ahead with anticipation to all you can achieve
through the dedicated staff and outstanding programs at
Phoenix Academy of Martial Arts.
