BLACK BELT GRADINGS

Black Belt Gradings

This weekend we had our Black Belt Graduations.

Saturday was the turn of our Kick Boxers.  We had Xander Delsaint (1st Dan Cadet) Stacey Stead and Katie Waddington looking to graduate.  It was a hard graduation with lots of bag blasting, combinations, techniques, drills and exercise.  They all did an amazing job and fully deserved their successful graduation.

On Sunday were the Karate gradings with Stanley Seymore Crawshaw going to 1st Dan Cadet.  He did an amazing job, especially being the only one from Knottingley and successfully graduated.

Lots of hard work goes into not only the day, but months of extra work on top of usual training to build up fitness and perfect techniques, katas and drills.

Well done to each and every one of you… we are extremely proud of you all.

On Saturday we also had our Boys Night run by Mr Walker.  With students and parents of students all coming together to have lots of fun and laughter with games and a few drinks / nibbles.

Coming up this week we have some more great lessons.  Corona Virus has to be mentioned.  We remain open for you to continue your training.  We are thoroughly cleaning the academy and disinfecting all areas and equipment on a minimum daily basis.  All visitors (students and grown ups) are to wash their hands before and after training.  Stay healthy and safe and maintain high levels of personal hygiene.  Please do not train if you are feeling unwell.

Coming up we have our Mini Tournament on Sunday 5th April and Easter Camp on Tuesday 7th April.
